Dan is a freelance violinist who provides musical services, such as live interpretation, musical arrangements and transcription.​​

          A native of Sibiu, Romania, Dan began his violin studies at an early age encouraged by his father, a professional violin teacher who instilled in him a lifetime commitment to music. He received a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Interpretation from the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca.

          After years of classical music studies, Dan traveled to the United States where he had the opportunity to meet musicians who introduced him to a new world of music: jazz standards. He discovered a love for jazz and after these encounters, his violin never sounded the same. He began adapting various pieces for violin demonstrating a unique ability to improvise. An artist of great diversity, Dan proves that the violin is a very versatile instrument. His repertoire includes Classical Music, Jazz Standards, Rhythm & Blues, Pop Rock, Latin, Soundtracks, and Ethnic Music.​​​

          Through the years, Dan has delighted audiences with his sense of style, creative flair and originality in interpretation whether at top hotels and restaurants or private venues. He accommodates any requests and delivers a heartfelt performance, which has earned him a faithful following.

          His expressive sound and rich vibrato have been appreciated and praised by visiting maestros ​​Alexandre DUBACH​​ and Eugene SARBU.
